UW HALO STUDY
Hallucination Assessment through Longitudinal Observation

Do you experience hallucinations? You may be eligible to participate in our 12 month, paid research study. You can earn up to $270.

​​We're seeking volunteers for a paid online study that aims to make a real impact. Over the course of 12 months, you will complete brief tasks and respond to questions about your experiences and daily life. It's easy to join, confidential, and you will be compensated for your time!

We are looking for participants who:

Are over 18

Are fluent in English

Own a smartphone (iPhone or Android)

Experience hallucinations (auditory and/or visual) at least once weekly

Are available for 12 months of data collection

This project is a multi-year initiative supported by the National Institute of Mental Health and conducted by researchers at the University of Washington, the University of Minnesota, and Louisiana State University. The goal of the project is to find new ways to predict mental health outcomes. The study does not involve treatment, intervention, or services.
